I have been fortunate and somewhat unfortunate to have lived a challenging life through no fault of my own.  A life like that forced me to have to find a wisdom to endure.  In finding that wisdom, I found myself isolated.

Not necessarily in a bad way but in a way where one feels alone in the experiences that have deeply shaped them.  These experiences, some of which involve childhood physical trauma, abandonment, post-traumatic stress, and anxiety compelled me to find a balance in my life.  That balance made think I was professionally and personally whole but in truth I was not.  In walks Jack into my life, bringing a new wisdom culture to my horizon.  Leave the past behind, he says.  The energy and thoughts expended on the past are wasted because you cannot change anything about it, he says.  Be prospective, he says.  Take action.  He did all this in an astonishing way.  He did not actually tell me these things.

Through his unique listening techniques and subtle nudges, he revealed the truth: I had potential to do more than I could ever imagine if I could optimize my present-day life.  To optimize my present life, required me to dispense with the past.

He demonstrated that my life as balanced as it seemed had space for more than the ordinary, time for more joy, more growth, more damn energy!  The fusion reactor was ignited.

Within a year of knowing Jack, I made some of the boldest professional and personal choices in my life.

I moved laterally in my profession, found immediate success, became a mentor and a source of advice for many. I became a better husband and father.

Each step Jack was there speaking into my life.  He does this because of his belief in his culture, a culture rooted in generosity and wisdom.  He does it because he loves.  For what he has done and continues to do for me, I am grateful.  I am and live an inspired life.
